That I sleep until the afternoon,

There's a girl that I love in the morning,
She is buried in her warm designs,

There's a light that I see in the morning,
As she kisses me awake again,

As the harsh get hard and bolder,
And the warm grow cold and older,
That's the game.

I could have given in to the pull,
With my glass almost to half full,
But I still live,

There's a peace that I feel in the morning,
As the stillness and my heart combine,

There's relief that I have every morning,
